Nobody explicitly said what setting I had to change in Unity in order to publish a game to the Windows platform on my MacBook Pro. And here I might get some static from people in the know that’ll say “you did get an answer” or “they told you what the problem was.” So I went through the tedious work of searching the Project Settings for anything that mentions IL2CPP or Mono, starting at Audio.īy the way, the other Google search results were pretty much the same as the first in that it talked about IL2CPP, but didn’t give me a solution to my problem. The answers throughout the forum post lead me to believe that IL2CPP and mono are settings that could be selected. What I did see, however, was a recurring word: mono. There was no solution to my problem in the post, at least not that I could see or understand. It certainly might have been useful to someone and probably was, but it wasn’t to me.
